belltech shock problem

I just recently replaced both shocks on my L which has been lowered with a belltech kit, not by me but the previous owner. When I took the shocks off, the top of both shocks were worn away where the rubber bushings are, virtually no rubber left on the top ones. I wanted to know what could cause this. I just replaced both shocks with new ones of the same type (belltech nitro-drop) and dont want the same thing to happen to the new ones. Since replacing the old ones, everything seems to be fine so far ...

pictures of the shocks here:

The pictures aren't the greatest quality, i took them with my web cam ... sorry.

i never liked the nitro-drop shocks ride,so i replaced them with the nitro active ,which are stiffer and ride much better .

Those shocks suck man. Ive had them for like 3 months and I swear they have taken a toll on my back. I just ordered the Dotsche shocks on friday, should get them this weekend. They are the best bang for the buck for a lowered vehical. Only $39.99 each!

No way, I literally hit the roof with my head on bumps on how much they suck. I am talking about the Nitro drop ones, not the nitro active though.
