I've got certs and experience doing small businesses and friends stuff, but nothing to show for it.. Whats one to do to get in to the market with not much to show for experience?

Im 16. Ocassionaly work for my grandfather (hes a lawyer). My uncle passed away about a year ago, and left so much money behind to my grandfather, that he decided to buy me my L. But as ive seen on here, everyone is into 'computers'. Im not a computer 'geek', but I know my fair share about em. Planning on going to college for something to do with computers...

Right now I help with catering/reunions and now helping to get a small restaurant set up in my home town in which I will manage. I go to school on M/W/F and will work afterwards and in between. Its very possible to keep up with payments as long as you can get a job that pays steadily...

I am 20, and in my 3rd year as a Mechanical Engineer at USF. I got a scholarship to pay for school, so, all my extra money goes to the truck!!! I have my own mobile auto detailing business that I use the L for... people LOVE how it looks cause I keep it spotless, that sure does bring in more customers! People always ask, "well, I what kind of work do you do?" ... all I have to say is "take a look at the truck"... nails 'em every time. I always like it when the bed has all kinds of detailing supplies in it, and I'm still blowing the doors off everyone else... gotta love the L.

Also, off topic, but, it felt great tonight when I beat my friends dads 2002 911 Carrera 4. What a sweet truck. Y'all have fun and be safe...!

I seems not many of you are mechanics, actually none on this thread. Not hard work at all. But I could not sit behind a desk or computer all day long.

well im 23 and i have owned my baby since july of 99. my brother, dad and I run a vidalia onion farm together. (family buisness raised into it working at age 10). not as easy as everyone thinks but on good years pays ok and some years not ok. i went to college for 2 quarters and decided it wasnt for me too. i decided i wanted to go ahead and start working so i could pay for all my hobbies and toys. plus it helps that im single for the last year and a half.

Well I am the opposite of most of you guys. I am a laborer. I love the heat and hard physical labor. I love working in the 90+degrees and 90%+ humidity. Well I use to work for my old man. He works for me now, so I am doing more office work now.

I'm an electrical engineering student and a bartender. I bought the L (brand new off the show room floor) a month before I turned 24
