Some people amaze me....

On my way home from work last night about 1AM, I think, hmm, I nice cherry slushy sounds good, so I swing into the 7-11 and get one. While walking out the door, I hear a rumble of an italian V12 rumbling in the parking lot. I look and see a very new and nice Lambo Diablo, briiiiiiiiight yellow. The rich snob driver, carefully inches up to the pumps and proceeds to fill above said Lambo with crap 7-11 gas, and regular at that!!!!!!!! A whole tank of it!!!!!!!!
I just chuckled as a walked past getting "freeze head" from drinking my slushy too fast. Just goes to show, you can't buy common sense, even if you are grossly rich.

Maybe us Lightning owners are just more **** retentive than the rest about maintenance and overall care of vehicles......

What a moron, I wouldn't even do that to my dirt bike!

My mother likes to buy delta sonic, and she wonders why her trucks shudders and shakes until I put some racing gas in it to compensate for it.

Did Mr. Lambodufus opt for a slushy too?

It's possible that it was a Fiero with a Lambo body kit, but if the engine sounded like an exotic V12, then who knows. I don't know about you guys, but Citgo is terrible. I don't care what anyone says, because when I used to use it, my old Taurus never seemed to run right. I have never touched Citgo gas since then. It might be a regional thing though......

Citgo gas seems to run alright for me up here. I only go there when the price difference is more than .10 to amoco or bp. I never use 92 in my truck, so those are about my only options besides shell, of which there are 2 around here.

Well, this seems to apply here as well:

- QUOTE OF THE DAY -

"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful,
is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that.
I say that there is a lot more stupidity than hydrogen, and that
is the basic building block of the universe." - Frank Zappa

I live about 2 miles from the big Citgo refinery, and those tankers roll across the big bridge near my house every few minutes. You'd be amazed at the names on some of those tankers.

Still, I only run BP or Shell premium. I'd run Chevron but they aren't in this area.

Mobile oil,,,,,,,, the best for me,, even though the refinery over here in detroit ( river rouge is you will) is actually one of the most unsafe refineries in the country.
~Toast

btw,,, this is actually a quote from more then one people I know who have worked there for 10 years plus.
