disturbing noise :(

Today I changed my oil for the 3rd time and started her up,, everything fine like normal.

Then I pursued to add my Accufab Throttle Body. While taking off the stock t/b i (with foolishly large hands) managed to drop a 10mm nut from the bottom left portion of the t/b. Where it went,, i have no clue whatsoever. So I get over that and install the new t/b with new nut and all. start her up and all the sudden I hear this sorta rattle,,, almost as if the fan is hitting something. I'm assuming its just that damn nut I lost jostling around there somewhere because when i pulled her out of the driveway the noise stopped,, and has not started since.

Just hoping it was the noise of the foolish nut,,, and not something else important such as wrong tps voltage etc,,

the nut probably fell out on the ground near your driveway. when its light out, go check and see if u can find it on the ground by the street or in your driveway. if you find it, then you know. Mike

I'm sure the noise you heard was the nut in your cylinder

Time for a cylinder pressure test

Toast, I hope you find that nut. Having to fish it out from inside motor won't be fun.

As for me, every so often I hear a new sound from my truck. Sounds like a bird chirping.
