Suprised and impressed

Well, I finally got a chance to drive my new 2002 Lightning in the rain yesterday(earlier today for me). And I was expecting the worst out of my truck and I was very suprised and impressed with the traction of the Lightning. Off the line at a light I only gave it quarter to half throttle and spun off the line only once and that was when I had stopped in a huge puddle of water. I guess why I was expecting the worst is my previous truck spun like crazy in wet weather, and that was a supercharged V6 with 3.55LS.

yea......the Charged V6 was my previous truck. I am just saying that since this is a more powerful truck with more gear to it I was expecting it to spin worse than my old truck.

Isn't it great Freak , I also expected a terrible wet weather ride, especially coming from a Cobra that was life threating in the rain. But instead I found the L and F-1's are awesome for traction in the rain. I guess thats the trade off for only getting 1 year out of a set.

I got caught in a severe downpour one day while driving the L, and I thought it did pretty good in the rain. I mostly took it easy while turning and accelerating, but I was surprised that the tires didn't break loose when I pushed the gas a little. It even did fine at highway speeds, but I still got lots of tread on my tires, unlike most of the 'normally' driven Ls
