I have to ask a dumb question. What is "adjusted" with an adjustable sway bar? Do you get more/less anti-roll characteristics similiar to shortening and lengthening endlinks?

aus6321,

By adjusting the end links on the bar I can set my own pre-load at the drag strip. The idea behind this design is that it will provide an equal amount of downforce on the tires during launch which should yield better 60' times. That's the idea anyway. The Mustang guys have been using these drag strip sway bars for a few years now and I just wanted to make something strong enough to hold up on our trucks.

Here's the reason for the new sway bar.

This is the rear Hotchkis sway bar. Top view. As you can see I had some clearance issues. This only happened at the track

Vin,

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you need something made you know who to call
