Question Truck Was Clay-Bared, Boyds Polished, Ready for Whisky Tonite, Whos Going?

Well this was my first time using the clay bar or doing it on my truck and all i can say is wow. Man i use to think that my truck shined before. Now it is even more of a mirror then before. I really recommend that anyone who hasnt done it to do it. I polished the Boyds to and im ready for Whisky Cafe Crusie night tonight. So whos going? Bruce, Russ, Daniel anyone else ??In case any of you are wondering where Whisky is its in Lyndhurst, N.J. So whos going let me know hope to see you there.

Cool man, I really want to do that to my truck, i heard it makes a world of difference. What brand did you use, and how does one actually work? I've never tried one myself....

Its real easy. I got the Mothers Clay Bar Kit. It comes with the clay bar, mist spray, and small bottle of wax. All you do is spray down the area you want to do with the mist spray that comes in the kit. Then take the clay bar and with light pressure do overlapping strokes over the surface of the truck then wipe any excess mist off. Now when i did it i had lots of streaks so what i did was had what i always use my bottle of 3M Perfect Gloss Enhancer , great stuff by the way . Then after i clay bared i sprayed that on and wiped away the streaks and was smooth as a baby's @ss. And looked like a mirror. Wish i had a digital camera i would post pics. Well worth it and i recomend it to anyone.

I finished cutting down the tree/bush this morning and the garage is blocked. The Lightning is in the garage, so I wasn't going to make it. Hate to drive up in the LTD Of course I could park next to Russ

After you sprayed the gloss enhancer and wiped away the streaks did you wax it? Or is the 3m gloss enhancer have wax in it?

Im leaving now to see whats going on wish you would coudl make it well theres always next week .

No waxing today the clay bar and gloss enhancer were enough. The gloss enhancer brings back that just waxed look it is truely awesome stuff. Ask anyone that was at the JDM meet thats all i used was that truck was a mirror. I have lots of coats of wet cherry on the truck though so that helps im sure to. But with the clay bar the shine is just awesomel
