Anyone know of why this would happen?The light stayed on till I turned the truck off and then back on.Its only done it once so far. I guess its back to the dealer she goes! thanks for any ideas.

Sounds like you have a ABS sensor going bad. I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago on my 99 S/C ORP truck. It steadly got worse and worse, sometime it wouldn't come on but as the weeks went by it would come back more often. You can also feel it in the brake petal as you brake, if you are some slight gravel, you can feel the truck locking the front tires! I was still covered with my warranty back then. could be a wheel speed sensor, could be a hydraulic control unit or electonic control unit (abs module), could be just low brake fluid level.

when the light came on it set a code, get it checked out.
