I have a problem with tire spin and need to know if traction bars will help. I had a 81 ford with a 377 in it and we ran some hi 7's with it. It did not have traction bars on it. Traction bars are to keep the rear end from rolling on older cars so we tied the back side of the springs together on it. People would look at it an not see traction bars and think that it would not run. I would like to know if the traction bars do the same on the Ligntnings. I can roll the truck of the line about 20 to 30 feet and nail it an it will light the tires up. I plan to buy some drag radials in the next week or two but don't know what kind works now days. SO someone help me please tell me something. I know that some of you are running killer numbers on F1's but I don't know what you have done to the truck to get it to do it.
