Question Why wax?

I polish my L quite often but I am unsure of why I should wax the L as well. The L looks very good after a good polish.

Any input?

Polish shines...wax protects.

Cept if you use something like Zaino..it does both.

I have been asking the same question (i have been using the eagle one wax as u dry and the truck does look nice) But when you put it up next to a zaino or cheery red wax job... well it really is a world of difference. I am just about convinced to use wax from here on out. Problem is mine is an "outside" L (no garage) and i have experienced water spots with waxing before. The water beads up and sits on the hood etc leaving spots. I have heard a "sheeting" action is actually better in the long run . Whats everybody think ???

I think you should get a car cover for her then no more worrys about water spots. Thats what i would do if i had to leave my baby outside. Im even thinking about getting a car cover for it for inside.

Mine IS an outside L, no garage. I have a car cover and it does indeed keep it much cleaner, after a rain, water spots are seldom there. I also keep it Zaino'd.

NADS You ever see that stuff? On the infomercial they take a big glob of it and rip off hair from their arms then they take a spoon and stick it in the container and chow down. It's disgusting. I don't care WHAT it's made of. If you use it to wax your bikini line and then 30 seconds later you eat it it does not belong on public access television...

BBQ,
The next time I see you and spit on your truck just remember I did it because I love you

Wink

i can teach you guys/ladies the basics, in my new book. "Good L-Bad L, commanding respect from your blowhard". this trick i use, is to "never spit in their face". it breaks their spirit. i always sail one down on the read fenders, to get their attention, and later rub it in, for a great shine, and to let the L know "it's ok"
