My own Diablo program kicks A$$
My own Diablo program kicks A$$
Check this out guys/gals. Last week I went to the dyno and made a few runs w/ my stock '02 w/ 1800 miles on her. Needless to say I was pretty impressed at what I gained:

Run 1 is bone stock except for a factory replacement K&N panel filter.
Run 2 is w/ a tuner's file w/ 14 degrees of timing!
Run 3 is w/ my own designed file from the ground up w/ 12 degrees of timing. (Mad Props to Patrick at Diablo for being so patient and helping me back and forth via the phone to get this programmed right last week)
Not only did this file work on a non-pullied Lightning, but it's gonna kick A$$ when I throw in my 6# lower pulley next week
I'll bump up the timing to 13 and then 14 and try this again when I have time, before I do the pulley. I'll also try some higher timing w/ the pulley too. Yep, all on 93 octane
Oh, before you all start laughing at my #'s for possibly being low compared to other's, well note that every dyno is different at different locations. What you want to notice is the improvements from each run on the same dyno. This dyno we use here has been known to be slightly "low" when others come down from other states and tune on it, but in reality I feel it's a more accurate dyno than most any other out there. My '01 made almost the exact same #'s stock, and it wasn't underpowered at all. It (the '01) ran an 8.4 in the 1/8 STOCK, which is the equivalent to a 13.2 in the 1/4.
Later!
