OZ,

Any chance of you giving some details about the SS braided hosing? I went to a couple speed shops and even a Street Rod shop and they all said basically the same thing....."sorry, but we can't do it. Most of the pieces you need aren't even made."

What gives? Yours looks so sweet, how'd you do it? Are they sleeves or real hose?

John

I wonder if the front wheel drive would be better in the snow or better yet if it had only one wheel drive, i'd swear this truck would spin in circles if only one wheel spun.

I built a tranny for someone who was making an AWD Lightning, he used the front axle off of a navigator, I built a 4WD tranny and he had to get some computer work done, but all in all I think it went pretty smooth. I'll try to get a picture if I can, he's not an internet guy, but he's local.

FWD. No good reason for it.

AWD. 380 good reasons for it.

I wish it was an option.

Re: How Come Our Lightnings Aren't Front Wheel Drive ??

~Toast,

When I saw this in the thread list, I thought what the he!! is this guy smoking for breakfast these days ?

When I read the post I almost pissed myself with the comments, and that pic of the trash can on the car.

As for the AWD L, it seems to make sense to me, that would be hooked up real good. I figured I would get flamed for asking that dumb question, along the lines of [if you knew how to drive....and go away Anti-Honda..er sscully your bothering us ]

On a side note, I saw an a$$ clown on I-290 yesterday.
Red 99 XL, with a 12" long x 4" big around fart can add-on tip, on his stock tail pipe, and the blastamy of a SVT badge under the F-150 badge on the tailgate. I almost cried when saw this. Maybe it is a deep undercover L ? As in he figured out how to make the s/c not whine anymore
