Update on new NOSzle system

ok...here are a few photo's of the new NOSzle system.

It is in and funcional, but by no means done. As soon as I get the Deadenbear (SP) nitrous relay control it get ALL rewired. Also, the plastic line will be replaced with braided line.

Just cause I know you will ask, the single fogger nozzles in the intake is the 1st stage (set up for 50hp) The NOSzles under the injectors are set up on a progressive controller (set up for 200hp) BUT...it is ADJUSTABLE from 50hp on up.

If the weather is good looks like some testing at LSR on Friday night.

There are a few more pics on my website...follow the link below

I must say, that's an impressive NOS setup. Is that a fuel cell in your bed? What's the deal with that?

The nitrous has a stand alone fuel system. A 3 gallon fuel cell, Aeromotive A1000 pump & regulator.

The stock fuel system wasnt up to the task of supporting this system

I figured that's what it was but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions and sound stupid (cause I've seen guys use fuel cells as homemade power coolers). Sweet setup!

MAN! There's no hiding THAT nitrous setup from the dealer

It looks great Avdawg. Keep us posted for sure. If you get a chance, e-mail me with some details on what you are replacing the plastic line with, I have a few Mustang buddies cracking them left and right.

Oh, and just a small word of caution- pay close attention to that Aeromotive fuel pump. Every person I've known to run one has had it burn out. They last good when in the tank, but when mounted externally, they toast. Maybe you won't have that problem if yours isn't on full time. Just FYI.

Looks awesome. Need the PSP T/B plate to complete the package. Much better than squirting into the boot on your first stage. Holy solenoids! Cruise it by the dealer and tell them you have a funny noise you want checked under warranty. Would love to see their face.

1/8th mile testing

OK...heres the update, Friday test at LSR SUCKED, this thing wouldnt fall out of a tree  went home frustrated and concerned.

Worked on it all morning Saturday, then LSR Saturday night. We made some progress... In this land of going where no one has gone before we were trying to sneek up on a tune up. After a couple of test runs we were able to get a 7.5X at almost 95mph ,sorry dont have the slips in front of me. The 60fts were a little slow (1.7x's) but remeber we are trying to sneak up on the tune up and NOT hurt anything.

So... we will make a few more changes & check everthing out and hopefully make some more progress next week.

What rims are those you are running with the quicktime pro's and how wide are they??

I am running the American racing Bajas with my quicktime, and am not real happy with the setup, maybee if those rims are wider than my 10 inch wide Bajas I may switch.

If not the M/T should be out soon

Nice nitrous set-up, looks awesome displayed next to a Supercharger. And excellent job installing everything. You do good work, lots of people here do. I just havent figured out where the hell all this dam money is coming from for all these Mod's. It must be the dam house thats holding me back. If I get rid of it, I can probaly spend an extra $2,000.00 a month on the Lightning. Imagine that, Schit, I'll mount another motor in the Bed, Ya thats it.

PS
Anyone got a room for rent in the Long Island NY area

Don,

They are just some cheap American rims...like for a 4wd, they are only 10 in wide. Sure would like to find some that are 12in wide though, just to try.

Rob,

Thanks for the kudo's...it will look better once I get it cleaned up. We can probably find you a place in TX
