I'm sure this has been covered before, but I missed out...Are our heads the same as regular 5.4 heads???

 

I THINK, repeat THINK we share the same heads as the standard 5.4 as well as the 4.6!! You know the 5.0 and 5.8 engines also shared the same heads, or at least they were interchangable.

All of the heads from the '99+ Mustang 4.6L and '99+ F150 4.6L & 5.4L are the SAME. Now the cam specs are different, but the P.I. heads are the same. You can put 4.6L heads on your L or F150, or F150 or L heads on a Mustang.
