Thumbs up Lunar Series Gauges Installed!!

Hey guys i ordered my Lunar Series Gauges Friday got them today from www.jegs.com They look awesome i have no pics of them yet but hopefully by the end of the week i will. They match the dash perfect. For anyone wondering or wanting to swamp out their existing gauges for them you can. As long as you get the same gauges you have now. I had before Oil Pressure, Water Temp., and Boost/Vac. The oil and water are electrical and the boost is mechanical. The only difference with the Lunar Series and the Ultra lite series i swamped them out for is the bulb that lights the gauge. On the Ultra light it has the standard bulb that comes out and you can put whatever color sock on the bulb you want. The Lunar Series you cant take any bulb out it is just one soild wire then spilts into the black and white wires. The normal bulb with sock has the black and white wires coming right out of the bulb. The way i had my first gauges wired were with male and female connectors. Before i had the Ultra Lites i had the Autometer Artic Series then switched to the lunar. These were easier to swamp since they had the same bulb. All i had to do was pop out the old bulb, put it in the back of the new gauge, and swamp wires. With the Lunar i had to take the wires for the lights and put new female connectors on them no big deal.

They were worth the wait the gauges light up nice and bright and like i said match the dash perfect. So if anyone wants to swamp out their existing gauges for them you can. As long as you have autometer gauges and get the same gauges. Hopefully will have pics soon .
