Yeah, it was a 1/4 mile race. It's marked of where we went. It may be a little off, but not to much.

 

A well driven Ls1 easily has a Lightning beat, even with mods. (They have free mods too which can up the pressure some more)


However, a M6 car is down to the driver, and 75% cannot launch it on street tires with any hope so in that regard you can hope to win, since launching your L is a lot easier than launching the M6. But theres that special group out there who could easily take you out. Remember their power is not that far behind and they have a lot less weight to move.

I dont have any trouble laying waste to them with the mods in my sig. I lost to one SS, but he had head/cam package,long tubes, 3:73's, free mods, and a few other little tricks. He turns 12.0's on motor and he got me a car length to about 120 all three times! He turns 10.92's on the juice! Thank god he didnt spray me, it would have gotten real ugly!!

 

DO YOU WAN'T TO BEAT HIM WITHOUT SPENDING A DIME ??? Run him again, but this time when he starts to catch up, swerve towards him like your out of control. Ok I'm sorry, that was a cheap shot, I got a L too, but remember the Driver "and his or her technique" is much more important than a few tenths of a second. You need to go back and whoop that sucker. "DO NOT SMOKE THE TIRES" and you will smoke him.

 

I own L and 98 SS. The SS still kicks the Ls *** any day of the week. Both are mostly stock. Weight is a killer for L, its 1800 heavier. If any LT1-LS1 has mods you are lots of trouble. You can win if you practice practice. Re
