I was the modular water pump engineer for all pass car and truck programs. It was 5 years ago and the pumps have not changed. However the part numbers have and I'd have to physically look at what you are wanting to do.
What's your *specific* questions? (no answer I can give could be used as a blanket statement like :
"I've heard the 5.4 block and the V10 are the same on the front side of the motor."
If your talking the pump only? Then shoot me a pic of his W/P and I can help.

I'm looking to find out if the part #'s are the same on either water pump, so I can order the same pump for the excursion, .
I still have my stock pump so i could compare the two but I didn't want to take his out if I didn't have to.thanks anyway
