Air condition & power?
I never knew the compressor shuts down at WOT, You mean all this time I've been shutting down the AC to blow away a 5.0 was for nothing. ****z, if you haven't noticed it's been in the 90's for like a month straight here in NY. Can't wait to dust a stang tomorrow with the AC on
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I will add one note to people experiencing differant shift points with the AC on. My custom Diablo program bangs into gears much harder with the AC on. TOO HARD DIABLO IF YOUR LISTENING.
Only had to do that twice for me to ALWAYS shut down the AC before giving it a 123 Blast. A matter of fact it's out for reprograming for the forth time right now and it does short shift when the AC is on, but maybe my other Mods play a part "less the chip" ?

I'm not in tight with the "L" calibration guys. I only know one of them and he's tight lipped.
But my understanding is that when at WOT, it's no different than w/the A/C off.
BTW: The 5.4L F.E.A.D. system takes a hit of 540lbs load on the water pump when the A/C kicks on at 3,000-3,500 rpms. This translates to approx a 5-6 hp loss.
So if your gonna go more than 40% throttle? Just turn the A/C off. Things will live longer.
BTW part 2: It's not so much the HP loss you should be worried about, as it is the longevity of your other F.E.A.D. accessories. (front end accessory drive)
