Ever since I got my 99 L a few months ago, there has been a rattle in my door. After taking it apart several times I took care of the rattle, for the most part. Then one day, I compared my driver and passenger doors, and I could push the driver door in about 1/8" when it was closed, and the passenger door was snug. Does anyone know how the adjust the door so it's tigher fit? Anytime I got over a rough road, the door moves. Please help.

I'm not sure if this applies to our trucks but on an older ford that I had the door was loose. What we did was move the pin that the door latches too. It takes a big torx bit in the end, sorry dont remember what size, but we unscrewed it a tiny bit and it moved around. So we just moved it in a little bit and that took care of the loose door. Before you try it you might want to put some tape or some marks around the pin so that you know where it started at. Hope this helps.
