Question My day at the track...

Well my baby is finally all back together again, here's her recipe:

2lb pully
JDM street chip
electric fan
cobra water pump
JDM intake
ba-bolt throttle
bored plenum
SS long-tubes
Silver Bullet exhaust
Hotchkis springs/swaybars
QA1's (all the way - back, all the way + front)
ARE Baja with 28x16x10 Hoosier slicks
PI torque converter
Factory_tech line vavle
factory_tech beefy clutchpacks
truck-trak traction bars with 2"-3" between snubber and springs

Best run was 13.18 at 103.17

But here's my problem/problems:

First off: I can't do a decent burn-out. Does anyone have tips on getting the Hoosiers spinning?

Second: I'm not get traction off the line. 1.942 was my best 60' time. I've tried the Hoosiers from 12-18 psi and get the best results at 15.5psi (scary squirrly at 12psi btw)

What kind of 60' time should I have? What can I do to increase traction?

w/ a 5# lower and chip I was turning 1.84's on my '60 ft. usahooters was turning some 1.70ishs.

I'm not too fond of Hoosiers or slicks when you don't need them. You have to lower their pressure so much to get them to work, then you're creating so much drag going down the track they actually start to hinder your e.t.

Have you tried launching on stock F1's on a good track?

blah...

Our track (SiR/Pacific Raceways) is a notorious piece of chit. I just didn't think I'd have such a problem hooking the Hoosiers...
