Try 305/45/18. I'm pretty sure that's the size. He's got a set and the HOOK like a ****. Good enought to break a couple driveshafts.

There was a guy in a red L that broke a drive shaft with Nittos at WFC. Wasn't DL though.

I have a set and can say with the right conditions they will hook but if you are putting some serious power to the ground like my truck they are not worth it. Before I had traction bars with the Nitto darg radials they helped break a drive shaft. The size is 305/45-18. I will give mine one more chance before I get some hoosiers on hopefully the track will have some traction.

You can find some 555R's on www.victoriatire.com for $225 a piece if that helps.

I guess mine could be off. I really don't know. I run the 555R's as a daily driver in the rear along with 555's up front.

By calculations .35 inches taller than the 295/45/18...

$480 for two Nitto Drag Radial 555Rs 305/45-18 shipped.

That's the best price I've seen yet, because if you are in CA Victoria Tire charges 8.25% for tax. Where they came up with that rate only Gray Davis knows.

I have the Nitto 555R's 305's also.....in the heat they hook on the street pretty well....but under about 65 degrees, they spin as bad as my F1's. And my problem with spinning is the 1 to 2 upshift..with the Nittos they chirp when its hot out....otherwise they just spin and I have to let off.

Hey Rusty,

Sorry I didn't post sooner, I am having laptop computer problems. I have the Nitto's, 305/45/18 on the rear. Best 60' was 1.71 in Feb. 02 this year.

I sold my 20's and use the Nitto's on my truck for the street. I have bought a set of Hoosier DOT Quick Time Pro's for the track. If I want to race in a hurry, I'll just keep the Nitto's on.

I love them on the street, they do pick up small rocks and sling them though.

Discount is where I got mine. See you at Bristol, TN this weekend???
