Will the painted mirrors with signals fit on to a 99? Or do I have to get the ones without the signals? I want to have the painted look.....

Yes they fit the same. I put them on my 2000 and the wiring was even in the door for the signal lights. I don't know if it is for 99.

Why not just paint the whole assembly? A couple of threads down is a photoshopped pic of one.

 

Yeah. I say go for it, and get all the rest of the plastic pieces smoothed/painted while your at it.... (triangle which holds mirror, side steps, bed rails...)

I switched to the street scene mirrors. I installed my 2001 mirrors on my fathers 99. It was factory wired for the blinkers

What did it cost you to put the 01 signal mirrors on your 00 if you dont mind me asking. Thats the only thing i need on my truck and will basically have all the parts that my 00 didnt have that they put on the 01. Well except for the rims they are FUGLY though . I tryed www.fordpartsonline.com but they told me that you need the whole mirror and ford doesnt sell just the insert with the blinker. I know they dont come painted and you need to get them panited. So what did you do buy the whole mirrors or just the inserts.
Any info would be great.

Anyone know what it would cost to have the mirror, side steps, rear window trim and bed rails smoothed down and painted?
