Angry AAAAAAA, shoot me.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen to me, but it seems after I adjusted my bedlid posts to keep the bedlid from rubbing that I didn't tighten them down enough. I did my "day after check" and even that was not soon enough!!! GAH. I have now managed to rub a 2/3 ring around the back of my truck. :( :( :(

Well, guess it is as good as a time as any to then use this as an excuse for all my other touch ups.

Vinnie (BadAzz) can you give me the 411 on the painted bedrails? I think I am finally going to trade in this ARE lid for something lighter and get the Cervini's wing.

While I am at it, I am going to look into getting the whole truck wetsanded and then all the other chips/dings painted. (its two years old already).

Daniel

I've got an ARE lid and I thinks it's great... but I too had the rubbing problem... someone posted a trick solution... I did it...

The guy said to use the fuzzy side of velcro tape and line the top part of the lid... not only did it stop the rubbing... but it keeps the dust, water and other stuff out!!!

Cool huh???

Thumbs up

Daniel
Here is the post i made when i first got them. It has the part numbers and all the info. I still havent gotten them painted yet waiting for my smooth side steps for that. Check out tampa(Rich's) post he just made hes getting them painted now.

Hey guys i just got my smooth bed rails and tailgate cap from www.stylinconcepts.com They are made by street scene and i cant wait to get them on. I have no pics of them unpainted but i got some pics of them on the street scene truck. In case anyone is interested these are the part numbers to order them:

950-70724
Smooth TailGate Cap

950-7023
Smooth Bed Rail Caps

These are the correct part numbers you will need for our trucks the flairside stepside. When i first went to order them online from www.stylinconcepts.com they had the wrong numbers up there. When i called to check if it would fit my truck they had to cancel that order and use these as the correct part numbers. Im waiting for a few other parts i want to get painted and installed then i will post some pics of them when they are on. For now this is the best i can do this is pics of them on the street scene truck.

Heres one pic.

Heres another.
