Hey, I have that "clank" when the wheel is tured & in reverse, and now it has progressed to happening under hard or quick breaking! VERY annoying as well as embarassing. My Q is what and where is the/a steering stops? How do I lube them and what do I use? Thanx in adv.

I Just had mine fixed by the dealership about a month ago, and no clunk ever since then. You might want to do the same since they will fix it under warranty anyways. That clunk noise is very annoying, not to mention embarassing when people are looking/admiring your truck when pulling out of parking spaces, then they hear that loud @55 Clunk. Goodluck!

 

Thanx Jrome. Thought about the dealer, but figured I would ask the gurus first to see if it was something I could do my self. I will do anything to avoid a trip to the dealer. Guess I may have to though. oh well.
