I also read that Dodge was raising the price of the Viper by 5K to separate the price of the Viper and the truck. It seems that the new dodge truck will not even be close to the Lightning's 32K

I cannot see anyone buying this truck after they have owned a Lightning or for that matter just seen a Lightning. I wouldn't buy that truck if it was priced less than a Lightning. Anyone who buys this truck needs professional help. OK, I'm done!

Wow, haven't seen it yet. Really is a homely duck eh? Hmm...nice engine, baaad package. It was just testing, maybe the finished product will be different.

 

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't that pictures show single exhaust,, how could a freakin srt10 have single exhaust???

The srt ram's appearance has been toned down just for testing. The drivetrain is in place along with the large wheel & tire combo. It's disguised just like every other new vehicle being tested is until a few months or so before their release. The show truck is bad *** and the production will be too. I myself think dodge screwed up because they have a new 5.7 Hemi motor out this year to power the 2500 and 3500 rams. It has 345 hp and all they had to do was make bump up the power to match the lightnings hp rating and probably the price. I WANT A TRUCK ON THE STREETS THAT DIRECTLY FIGHTS MY L. It would be great o have the L's vs srt's all over the country at the strips. The price is what makes this truck way out there and makes the L better for all. Dodge's big boys really f'd up.
