exhaust Fumes

well about a month ago i had my exhaust fixed because it was way to close to the body kit. and i guess it was just made that way. well i thought they fixed it but im still getting all this black crap on my body kit. its this normal or should i get it looked at again. Does this happen to any one else. i just dont want the exhaust fumes to mess up the paint on the truck

thanks and take care

I don't think that it will harm it.

Yes it is normal........it is because the trucks run rich and carbon build up along with condensation drip out the exhaust tip and while your driving it is "flung" (for lack of a better term) up on your lower body kit and wheel.

Try running race fuel at a track and after driving home find your chrome wheels a nice shade of blue/purple

Question

My question, is if these trucks run so rich, how in the world did Ford certify them for Low Emissions vehicle? My tailpipe is black as ever..........
