Hey guys! I am going to put a 3 gauge a-pillar pod in my 01 and I was wondering if the redesigned Lo-Tek pod is as crappy as the original. For those who have it is the color to match Light Gray or Medium Parchment? Finally, anyone ever used APC gauges? I know they are from the ricer crowd but the have the electroluminecent lightning and are very affortable. 30% cheaper than autometer. Thanks all!

I believe someone made a post a couple weeks ago stating that the new Lo-Tek Pod's were a lot nicer, and better fit than the old ones. Do a search on it...

Just installed my two gauge pillar yesterday. (well, trial fit install anyways) Fit is really good. The only questionable part is at the top next to the headliner it's not as tight as factory, but I believe after a few days the headliner will relax around the pillar and you'll never know it. Fit everywhere else is very good. Can't imagine the Autometer could be that much better.

Geee......my lo-tec is crappy

 

My two pillar pod didnt fit too good. I had to trim about 1.5" around the top to get it to fit 'ok'

Ill sell you my Triple if you like? I was gonna do triple, bought only bought 2 gauges...so I went Double, and triple is just sitting here. Only used for like 2 weeks.

Thanks all! I went ahead and bought the autometer triple from summit while I was getting my trans temp gauge. Wish I would have seen the last post cause I would have bought 02JSVT's Lo-tek. Anyone know what part number for the ford interior dye I need to match the autometer?
