Talking Spark Plugs in the Exhaust tips

Has anyone done this..??

I had a long boring drive today and was thinking of the site and wondered if anyone had ever tried it?? Greased Lightning like in the movie grease??

I heard if you mount sparkplugs in the exhaust..You can get flames to come out..

What a better vehicle..

I dont think I would ever do it..But I would laugh my *** off if I saw an L gas it at night and that happened..

Just wondering...For a laugh none the more..

Matt

There was a post about this a long time ago... Someone was wanting to try it. People commented that it would fry the plastic right next to the exhast tips. Im unsure however if that person ended up doing it or not....

some of the old guys around here do it to their hot rods/ lead sleads that they show mostly. my understanding is that you need some type of fuel as well. like you'd have to have some type of fuel injection mechanism back there, it's not just going to light up the stuff coming out of the exhaust. unless of course you are running so rich that raw fuel is pouring out of your pipes.

spark plugs

you dont have to have a fuel sorce to do it if you are running a little rich, but if you do I know ive heard of some guys using propane and you need a coil system to fire the plugs up its actually a little work, and if you run a fuel sorce I'd say its a bit to bulky for a lightning.
