Question motorcraft vs. TR6s NGKs

I know this post has been covered over and over before but I really some help..Ok I ran the TR5s before and got a lot of detonation for some reason and one of the plugs looked pretty bad from what he showed me..My technician told me it wasn't as cold of a spark as the factory motorcrafts or the TR6s. So because they didn't have any TR6's plugs on hand at the shop I went back with the motorcrafts. I went by Pep Boys today and they told me they could special order the TR6's for $2.40 each which doesn't seem too bad.. Anyway I want to know what do you guys think about the TR6 plugs compared to the motorcrafts and if any of you are using the TR5s are you or have you had any problems with them?? Any of you still using the stock plugs with mods?
Would you sugges I upgrade with the mods I have?
Air raid box filter kit
JDM superchip 93 octane street aggressive program
160 degree stant thermostat

Thanks!!

Hey Don, when you installed your 2lb pulley was it upper or lower? Also what was your reaction when you first went for a spin with it?

I'm running TR-6's with a 6lb lower and 75 shot NOS...
When I switch to the NX 150 (hopefully this week) I'll put the IT-24's in.
