i just shelled out a good chunck of money for an airraid box and cone filter for my 99'. Shortly after taking it out on the town the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light came on could that be the mass O2 sensor? Please help.

I also have the airaid on my 99 and had the same problem, check the air temp sensor again and make sure it did not fall out or come loose, also check and make sure all the new fittings are tight and have not come loose after the intial run. And just some extra info, if you take the sides of the box off and just run the filter it doubles your blower noise and in good weather frees up some power.

 

Could be the air temp sensor, but thats a guess. What I don't understand is why you didn't buy from one of the supporting vendors here , they would have been on top of any problems you ran into! Maybe one will chime in and help you anyway. Good luck, in trouble shooting your problem
