Chip Question

I have posted this in the "Chip" forum but felt that I might get a quicker response here.

I recently helped my friend install a lower pulley and Superchip in his 02 HD. Initially, the truck responded extremely well, but after several days of driving, the truck started doing strange things in first gear--actually stays in gear longer, and the truck acts like it wants to stall.

We pulled the chip out and cleaned the computer prongs again. Same thing! The truck runs like a banshee, and then it starts its first gear querks. Could the computer prongs still be dirty?? I would think if they were, then the truck would act strange immediately.

Yea Ron make sure it is taped down good , and if it comes down to it , you can also try your chip in it and see how it acts.
