non lockup converter

non lockup converter

would a non lock up converter be better for our trucks than a lockup as the stock one does?i ran a non lock in an aoed mustang and it was great.i know it increase rpm and gas mileage may drop but who buys a lightning for gas milage.

Not really, converters used now are electronically controlled, and the ones back then in the AOD mustangs were a mechanical lockup that couldnt be readily controlled, like by the PCM, or a chip.
