Torco users.

I know several of you have tried or use the Torco fuel concentrate. Does it really work? Pros/cons? Cost?

Costs about 10 bucks a can
Pros works good, at raising the octaine

Cons leaves deposits on plugs and clogs fuel filter

It is good to have some for a emergancy.

Thumbs up

I use it too at the track. Sal recommends it if you don't want race fuel. It(Accelerator-Unleaded) is NOT a 'booster', it's a concentrated race fuel.

You can order it direct or locate a distributer and order it.

No problems noticed with its use on my 01L.

The cheapest race 104oct unleaded here is $5.95/gal, Tolulene is $25-30 for 5gal. This sounds like a bargin if it works. What ratio are you mixing at?

I've been using it for over a year (about 40 cans through motor) and it has worked flawlessly. No problems whatsoever, except for the plug color.

I put one can to a half a tank. I always run with a half of a tank at the track, to keep it consistent. This mixture should net you close to 104 with 93oct gas.

And like everyone is saying, it is cheaper than 5gals or more of 104. And when you red light in the first round, you are not driving around for the next few days on $5 a gallon race gas.

I have used Torco for two years. No problems although I do change my fuel filter ofter.

I prefer it to Race Gas at the Track because it is easier and have got bad Gas at the Track, Race Gas stored in an above ground tank deteriorates quickly, especially in July and August Heat.
