Angry

In some magazines I have seen some converted manual Lightnings, and at the time I did not know they never came stick shift. You guys must be really sensitive. I was just asking questions, and stating my opinions, and now you are bitching saying "Shut the hell up." Okay...!

Manuals are fun, but are not the greatest be-all-end-all transmissions ever made. Sure alot of us would enjoy having a manual in these trucks, and some of us would love paddle shifters ...

but drive the truck so you have a clue what we are talking about. If not, then just quit embarassing yourself.

Aside from that, what magazines have converted manuals to L's??

How am I 'embarassing' myself? I was just saying what was on my mind. I have nothing to be ashamed about. I just needed to know why there are no manual L's in existance.

Ohh and about L's and their existence. Well my boy, legend has it that there used to be a rare and endangered heard of L's that roamed the plains of Africa. They could out run the T-Rex and were lighter then the brontasaurous. Then one dark and gloomy day a big rock, called an asteroid, hit our planet, Earth in case you were unsure, and that was the end of their so called Existance. THE END.

Hows that for a tall tale? You could probably write a book report or something about it. Make sure you specify that thats db682' s philosophy on it.

dude, I have a few Q's for you?

Why do you ask for a reg cab, then go bother the harley guys?

Why do you need a 6 speed in a trurck that cruises all day at 80 mph and 2500 rpm?

Why not go take all these things you have, andput them on a truck. You'll have the first lightning/harley/4x4 with
Sport 4x4 Off-Road
Regular Cab
Regular Bed
Five Speed Manual

and then get a 6 speed?

then make it turbo AND supercharged like all teh lightnings are in your mind.

p.s all this stuff he has talked about can be found in the specific form it pertains to.

boy oh boy

this thread sure has gone down the tubes since I last posted on it.......anyway about F150s getting a diesel and new 5 or 6 speed: yes there are rumors that say exactly that, but the soonest it would happen is 2004 (all the lastest rumors say more like 2007).Its supposed to be a 4.5 liter v-6 and will get somewhere around 25mpg.I know you lightning guys could care less about this new diesel but I figured what the heck, I'll post the lastest rumors.

I have heard the same things about the new F150s for 2005 but I am in no mood to pay up for diesel fuel. Thanks for the information though. That 4.5L V6 gas mileage sounds pretty good too.

And before you go, Id just like to let you know that not all Cobras are automatic. Perhaps if you would have looked between the drivers and passengers seat you would have seen that little stick that youve been doing all this bitchin about. Damn It kid quit assuming things.

FWIW, Mr. Anti-Honda is referring to Fobras. You know, "fake" Cobras.
