Tire Cleaning

What do you use to clean your tires?
I've tried almost everything, but it all makes the tires all shiny, and I hate the way that looks. I'm looking for a matte finish... something that will clean the tires, and make them look BLACK, not the light brown they are now... and no shiny stuff.
Thanks.

Have you found anything better than Wesley's Bleche-Wite?

I use Eagle One Tire Cleaner. The only place I've found it is at Sears, though.

Eagle One Tire Cleaner is very good.

Wesley's Bleche-Wite is great at cleaning up really nasty tires! Awesome on white walls. Some people say it will make your tires grey but I have talked to people who have been using it weekly and they don't experience any problems.

I use Pro's Non-Acid Wheel Cleaner. Yes, it is a wheel cleaner but I use it on tires too by their suggestion of course... Pro's Frank's special cleaner is also excellent on tires.

i use car wash soap and water to clean my tires. they stay dry looking all the time. like the matte finish you be talkin bout! I like them to look shinety but that stupid tire gel stuff does not dry on my tires. It says to let it dry for 30 minutes, so i let it dry for 2 days, and STILL it flings off on the side of my car! So i NEVER use anything on my tires but soap and water!
