Cool Anybody rodein a Z06 w/Nitrous???

A buddy of mine took me for a ride in his 2002 Z06 last night w/ 225 shot of NAWZ!!! He has 75 of the first stage and 150 on the second...only other mod is a small nitrous cam!!!

All I can say is HOLY SHEET MON!!!
The mother traps the 1/8th mile @ 106 mph, but he only runs on radials so low 7's is the best he can muster!!!
If we run I'm gonna havve to jump his as$ big time and only run an 1/8th!!!

Yes

My friend has put 200 shot on his 2000 S, sold it and put it on his 01 Audi S4, now has the ZO6 with the setup and has outrun me on my old bike. No timeslips yet.

one of my good buddies just got a 2002 quicksilver with black interior Z06, no door moldings, looks better without them in my oppinion. anyway when we hang out, he occasionally throws me the keys and says here you drive im tired. how can i argue?
awesome car, i love it, only thing i think would make it nicer is if they came with fog lights. kind of weird that its a pretty expensive sports car and you dont get fog lights. Mike

Actually, it's to let air rush into the engine. The brake vents are below where the fog lights should be located.

You must be talking about that black Z06 with chrome stock wheels. I met him at Hooters a week or so ago. Forgot his name but he seemed like a good guy. His car was sweet. If you race him make sure it's not for money .

Its not fair having to carry around an extra 1500 pounds of weight with a truck .

The only think I hate about the corvettes is that they make way to many of them and everybody has one now. You see them all over and its nothing speacial anymore. Now the Z06 is a little different story and thats the only chevy I have respect for, maybe a z28 if I feel nice that day.

ZO6's are nice well rounded cars...best buy for the money spent (even w/o fog-lights). A good friend of mine just plunked down the $20 G's w/ MTI here in Houston required to make his 02' a ZO7... bored, and stroked to the tune of 7 liters. I saw the dyno sheet from a previous C5 422ci conversion and it was pushing close to 580 rwhp and torque on a mild tune and had clocked a 10.8+ on street rubber. Houstonians beware of a black ZO6 w/ a little chrome UT emblem on the rear deck...he will soon be wicked fast and itchin to proove it.

There is a guy that lives around my neighborhood with a sick *** muda fudin sweet *** Zo6. Its like something you would see out of the movie Fast and the Furious, just without the "rice." Its painted dark orange untill it gets to the very back of the car where it jet black. Its also lowered and sounds like a beast. Couple days ago it smoked a mustand, couldn't see what kind. Anyway, they both took off and the Z was full length ahead before they left the intersection. Well anyway thats my input on the sweetest car ever, besides the L.

Ed is not afraid to rape a car! There are two black Z06's running around town now with nitrous on them. 600 HP and 3200 lbs is a good combination! I think we need to arrange a meeting of all us L folk around here!
