Dyno run today in Tempe Arizona. It's 102 degrees with 22 percent humidity. I ran 3 runs. 1st and 2nd run were on the J69 side of the chip (race/aggressive side). The 3rd was on the J39 (street program for 91 crappy AZ octane). I through out the 2nd run as it was just after the 1st and netted a couple less HP/TQ.
1. J69 side: 374.4 HP & 471.3 TQ
2. J39 side: 371.6 HP & 454.9 TQ
Both SAE corrected. The owner of the dyno (Technodyne) stated that the power would be down some because of the heat since the motor will read the temps. Fans were NOT used on any runs. I was expecting 395/495 but came up about 20HP & 25TQ short. I'm not sure how much the temps would make a difference but the owner stated it would be about that amount.
To compare J39/69, it looks as if the "street" side is about 3HP & 16-17TQ shy of the "race" side. I did use Torco to make sure i wasn't pinging on the race side.
Mods are in my sig!!!
PS: I went with a buddy who bought a '98 Vette auto. He also has a ram air (cold air) intake. His numbers:
HP: 295.x
TQ: 286.x

DB,
I sure hope so!! They're not bad i just had hoped for more (of course). I add the Torco when I run the "race" side which is supposed to bump the Octane level to the 94 or 95 level.

Well the whole point of SAE corrected numbers is to set "standard" parameters (i.e. humidity, temp, elevation, barometer) So those SAE numbers won't be any higher on a cooler day, however the actual numbers will be.
For instance I dynoed mine on a decent day and made 424/522 actual but the SAE numbers were corrected down to 409/503.

Soap,
Looks like you're pushing 35 more HP and 35 more TQ. What other mods do you have to make that much more power? Interesting to see that it's an equal gain in HP/TQ. If you have a bigger pulley, your TQ would go up much more than the HP.

So how well do the longtubes & high flow cats work out? I have the Bassani exhaust but i keep hearing that the longtubes and cats don't improve power or times much at all. Seems odd, i would figure they would. By looking at your numbers, they look inline with what Struck in AZ put down without the longtubes and high flow cats, all other mods similar. But i do believe he had on the 1.5 upper. Hmmmm....

Weedo ilive in CA and have almost the same exact mods as you except for the chip which is the single JDM J39. I also have the cold ari kit, 4# lower pulley, magnaflow 12568, 4x4 pan, and line mod valve with tr6's. I thought with this set up we would dyno at or around 400 RWHP (depending on wheather). I based this on JDM 99 Lighning they have posted in their website in the long tube header area. They also had the full exhaust, and I think a TB along with an E-Fan. But i am also sure that JDM tweeked the computer program to the max!!!! in order to make that kind of power. Maybe we need the long tubes w/ high flow cats in order to open up the exhaust and free up some power due to the increased boost. Finally we are also somewhat limited to the 91 octane crappy gas we have

Wbout the crappy 91 Octane. But most of the time I don't run the Torco so...
BADBOLT2:
As far as I remember, it wasn't 102 degree air we were sucking through your shiny new TB that day! Just wait til I get my Hoosiers!!!
CDub:
At least I'd be pulling hi 12's instead of low 13's in Michigan!!

Weedo, I remember Jim saying if you are using torco to change your fule filter on a regular basis (3000miles). Just thought I would post this in case you didn't know

PS: Did you check their website w/ dyno numbers for that 99 lightning under the long tube section?

Weedo, that's why they call them CORRECTED #'s!Doesn't matter what the temps are!
I'll give you the t/b advantage.LOL.
I think we'll all have to wait till about mid Sept. or Oct. to get some cooler temps, and hope for decent track prep.
What about the Pavillions???

Chris at Technodyne said even though it's correted it won't be the same. He said when they dyno their Porsches in cooler whether they always put out more power regardless of the SAE correction.
Not sure about the Pav's. It was fun to check out some of the other cars but other than that it seemed like a place where people with REAL BIG HEADS hang out to show off how much money they've spent on their cars. We'll see, you could probably talk me into it. Rather shoot pool, hint hint...

I didn't know that about changing the fuel filter every 3k or so. Thanks for the info!!! I only run the Torco when i plan on going to the track (i've used the Torco 3 times in 6 months) so i should be ok for a while. I drive about 3,000 miles per year!!
