Thumbs up My truck made Venom's website!

My dirty old truck made their website under the Dyno Day pictures.

How about that.

That other truck, the one with all the colors, made 1,189 rwhp on it's turbo/nitrous run.

I made 378 Rwhp & 475 ft lbs torque. It was about 85 degrees that day, with no fan running in dyno area.

That was made with a 2# pulley, and 53,000 miles on the clock.

Dante (1Bullet) made 429 Hp.

Very Respectable with a 2# pulley and that weather and that mileage.
With that kind of mileage and I know you drive your truck everywhere,How has the reliability been?
Any long term issues that I have to look forward to?
Thanks

Vinnie, my truck is a daily driver which will turn two on Saturday.

The only reliability issue are the typical Lightning problems. It's on it's third IC, which is the recall unit. 20,000 miles and no leakage.

The "clunk" has been permanently repaired, and the cam bolts are installed for front tire alignment.

It's been bulletproof, except, I seem to have a recurring problem with rear tire wear.

Hehe cool Jay!

The dyno was an above ground dyno. The rollers weren't sunk into the ground.

With that setup, us rear-wheel drive guys had to back onto the lift. Then wait for the lift to go up, then back onto the rollers. It was kind of a pain, but was neat to watch the cars "up" on the dyno

Jay- FYI I took the Saleen back to Swansons and we got 315hp out of it

Motor was hot too

Nice numbers on the dyno. Those dynos above ground dynos look cool. Did anyone see the tundra engine with the blower?
