Thumbs up True Blue Pics.... Let's see em!!!!

Well, guys, I have finally decided to sell my 99 Hugger Orange SS and join the dark side!

I am very interested in picking up a true blue L in the VERY NEAR FUTURE I need to see some pics, and hear from owners what they think about their blue L's, and if they had to do it again if they would still pick Blue. I need to make a decision SOON, because True Blue will be gone after 02...

Thanks for all your help fellas

Be True to Blue!

NewBlue02

This photo of my True Blue was with my chrome 99 wheels. It now has chrome 02 wheels on it.

This next photo was taken at last weekends Fun Ford Event at Norwalk, Ohio.

I previously had two red Lightnings, which were much easier to keep clean, but I love the blue in the sun.

I just bought a new '02 Black on July 6th. I compared 4 different colors. A white, black, blue, and my silver '01 I was trading, all side by side. There was no comparo between them all: black RULZ!

I *really* wanted a blue one. I found two dealers in my area that would do X-Plan w/out hesitation, and 2 of the 3 had blue ones (one having 2, and the other 1). Once I got to look at them close up I knew it wasn't for me. The rims just 'clash' w/ the dark blue. Now I understand why it was only a 1 year option.

I love my true Blue...At night it looks black and then during the day it gives off different shades of blue that are very pleasing to the eye...Sweet color....even sweeter, they only made it for one year....

My 99 was black, and although I've always been partial to black, I wanted something a bit different this time around. Blue is awesome in person...I think at least a 1/2 dozen of us have installed a billet grille, which seems to give a really classy look with the headlights...

YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

Of all the colors I've had to maintain, this True Blue color is the most rewarding. Like black, it seems to attract dust like mad. But when it's clean, polished, and waxed. . .it is really a beautiful color that seems to change depending on the light source. At high noon in the sun, it's a fire blue color. . .but in low sun or flourescent/artifical light it darkens considerably to almost black.

I recommend this color highly.

I love the blue!! Would purchase the blue again in a heartbeat, no matter what BfB says. There is nothing that clashes on this truck. See sig for pics.
