Vinnie,

I'm coming from Rockland County NY. Good chance I'll be going on Sat morning to hopefully do a couple of passes. I've never been to E-town or any track for that matter so it would cool to meet up before hand somewhere. Let me know.

Where in Bergen? I'm not far at all from the Paramus area and if you are on the way down to E-town, I'd like to meet up or something.

I could meet at GSP no problem. I'm looking to get there early so its not a fricken' nightmare finding parking or waiting to make a pass or 2.

email me at rhinoslug@aol.com if you put something together

time bumped

Hey guys, just a heads up, I just recieved a call from Racewaypark, Englishtown NJ. they have bumped the start time of our event from 9:00am to 12:00 the reason I was given for this was that the LT1 club was now planning on 200 cars not the original 75 they expected, while there timing was to say the least, **** poor, this does not change the the days events it just pushes them back a couple of hours, I hope this does not deture you from making the trip as this promises to be a great event with a solid turnout. I'm sorry for any inconvience this may cause. Thanks, Todd Abbott

It looks like the F-Bodies have the track from 10AM - 4PM. What time can the L's use the track?

start time bump

our time trails will start at noon and run till around 5:30 - 6:00, eliminations after that. I'm sorry about the short notice but the track gave me no choice. Nothing else changes. I hope to see you there. Todd Abbott

You need a Helmet, seatbelts, no glass containers, no alcohol. It's $20 or $25 to race plus you MUST purchase a "Racers Number" card at the gate with the ticket for a few bucks. Make sure you get the card. Then you must go thru "Tech Inspection" on the other side of the track and they will put numbers on your side and front windows.

Try to arrive with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel and get $20 of 100 octane unleaded race fuel when you arrive. It's only 63 miles from W. Nyack so you don't need much fuel to get there.

When you race DON'T drive thru the water box, go around it. DON'T do a John Force burnout. You're not allowed to go into reverse. Most importantly DON'T spin your tires off the line, spinning tires are slow, traction is what you want.
Have fun!
