hi, im a going to be getting a 2001 Red L soon, and was curious on everyones inputs on how to increase HP at a safe level, so my engine doesn't blow. Now i plan on putting in new pullies, a chip, and a Bassani X-type exhaust. Does anyone know of anything else i should add on, also i am going to open up an autobody in florida with my friend within the next 2 years, and our first job is to change my L from auto to manual, which should be interesting. thanks for your time.

Mic, if you want to play it safe I personally would not increase the boost over 4# pounds with the stock internals, especially if you are a daily driver. My recomendations would be (depending on budget) to start out with a chip, 4# lower pulley, breather cap, line mod valve(will give you firmer, crisper shifting especially at WOT), and plugs according to your mods ( Ihave the TR6's ). If you have the money also get an E-fan alinf with a TB.
