"Paul" emailed me this picture ...
I have NO way of knowing if it is real or where it came from

Doug

EDIT- Just got clarification from Paul. The picture was taken of a Lightning with Michigan Manufacturer plates with different interior door handles, revised steering wheel design and pedal covers. Thanks Paul

Y U C K! Hopefully this will not be one of those "grow on you" things. I didn't like any of the '01 upgrades until after it grew on me. Now I'd never say a '99/'00 ever looked better than an '01/'02.

But, man, I'm sorry...those rims blow!

That looks pretty good, but i'd rather see something like the 01 and 02 lightning wheels...

I really hope those are not them because i dont even think that chrome could save them. At first i didnt like the 01 rims and stock finish i still dont they can hold a candle to the 00/99 ones. But i do like the 01's in chrome they look much better. What are the guys over at SVT smoking if those are the real wheels.

I certainly hope that's not it. Those look weak...they look like contour wheels with a SVT center cap.

Lightning wheels need to look more agressive IMHO.

I don't really care for the 03' rims. I have an 01' L with the stock wheels and considering getting new rims. The problem with the stock 01's is that the shape of the 5-star design makes them look smaller than 18's. The 99'-00' rims looked better because their design looked like 18's. I heard someone say that they heard the 03' rims were lighter than 99-02 wheels. Anyone know if this is true? I'll get them if their lighter but they really are too plain. I'll take performance over looks anyday but i'd have to think about it.
