Keyless door mod
Just installed the keyless door mod...followed the instructions to the letter.
The first digit of my RAP code is "5". When I hit any number but "5" the lights inside the truck come on and all looks well.
I can lock the doors from the outside by entering the code then hitting 7/8 9/0 at the same time.
I can not unlock the doors ... I have tripple checked the wires per the diargram on the Forum;s "How To" and reset the code by entering the RAP code then hitting 1/2 the 7/8 and 9/0 at the same time....all that happens is the doors lock.

Yep, that part works....no matter what I do, the 5/6 won't light up when I hit it.
I have retraced the wire and checked all the connections and have it pluged into the 19 slot (Bottom of 256 Plug)

If I hook a test light up to the wire that runs the 5/6 button...(should be Yellow with Black stripe), would it light the test light when I push the 5/6 pad or does it not have voltage????
Andy,
The Brown wire going to the keypad has 12 volts. When you push a button the key pad it completes the circuit. so without the button pushed the YE/BK wire would show an open circuit, no ground or voltage, however when you push the button you should see 12 volts.
Hope this helps.
