How Strict Is NHRA Rule Enforcement???

There is a PSCA Sanctioned event this weekend in Las Vegas at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The track enforces the NHRA Rule Book, and my question is this, how strictly do they enforce the NHRA rules regarding window tinting. There are having an Open Class, and would like to race my Lightning, but I have tinted the driver and passenger windows. Will they allow me to race? I have e-mailed the dragstrip as well as the event coordinator. Thanks.

NHRA Rules state that all windows must be clear and only factory tint is acceptable. See link below.

Ive raced at LAS Vegas Speedway many times with a 10 second 5.0. WE raced the Grand Nationals in 1994. I had 35% on the side windows. They didint say a word.

you shouldn't have emailed them w/out talking here first. if he tells you no that you can't race, then don't sweat it and go anyways...they'll never say a word once you're there. you're just creating more trouble for yourself w/ what you did.
