I drove by a dealership in Sac and saw they had a yellow 03 Cobra convertable on the lot... I took a look, and the sticker was $53,000 with the dealer markup.
Wow...

 

I know where you can get a yellow convertible for msrp.

 

10,000 dealermarkup in my area for a coupe. Who would pay over the sticker price?

There was a dealer in the Dallas area that had a '01 L with 8000 miles on it and they wanted $32,900 for it. Stated it was worth more because of the BedRug and SnugLid! Funny considering new ones are selling for less!

03 Cobras are marked up 7k-10k here in the Bay Area. I would suspect people are paying it too.

 

There is a dealer by me that sells SOOO many cars to the Ford plant I work at and the Ford plant down the street from them, that they will sell absolutly ANYTHING on "A" plan.
I bought my truck for $27,800 and could have got an 03 Cobra hardtop for $31k and change!!

I like my truck too much to get something else though.

I don't have this ridiculous brand Bias that a lot of people out there seem to have (same crap on the corvette board too).

I just don't get this whole "I hate ford"; "I hate chevy" thing...it is so childish.

I just want the best cars for the money. For the money, the vette is a far superior vehicle to the mustang..sorry.
