Sorry about the misunderstanding. I thought you were a friend of Travis' and would know what was going on.

I know all about stealing pictures, I've seen pics from websites I've created floating around everywhere. No biggie, it's not like it's incriminating or embarassing pictures. Welcome to the world of the web. It really stinks when you spend days working on code and someone snags it. Copyright laws and the like only help so much.

BTW....since I know the guy that found the pic in the first place, and the guy that got ripped before with his pics......does this mean I get a free emblem?

I don't know why everyone gets so bent out of shape because someone takes a picture of their truck and posts it somewhere else. They are complimenting your truck, it's not like you have a one of a kind truck.

What do you do when people take pictures of your truck in a car show, you don't know what they are going to do with the pictures, It was on public display?

My truck was in my local dealer getting my new cowl hood painted and when I went to pick it up, the body shop guy said that an advertisement company was at the dealer making a add for paintless dent removal. They took a picture of my truck to use in a ad for the paint & body shop on a local TV station. It doesn't matter to me, I took it as a compliment. I've had a lot of people tell me lately, hey I've seen your truck on TV. Pretty cool to me...

People get sued for not chewing their gum on the right side. To many attorney's nowadays with bull***** cases.

Some of you guys need to ease up a bit, you take this ***** to seriously..LOL.

Someone else taking the photo is a completely different issue.

What if you owned a body shop or just didn't want your truck associated with this company for whatever reason?

Q1? How would you guys feel if someone used photos of your children in an ad to promote awareness of child pornography?

Q2? How would you like to open up a magazine that everyone you know reads and see a photo of yourself in a Prozac ad?

My truck was used in a full page ad in Truckin' to sell ricer parts. Am I being overly sensitive?

I agree w/ DL. I think you are talking about two different things here. If someone takes a picture of my daughter for pornagraphy, that someones getting hanged. If you take a picture of my truck and use it on your website, in an ad, in a magazine...more power to you. It's only a truck!!!

One addition, photoshopping someone elses truck isn't fair game. I guess you shouldn't try to hunt them down from their tags either, eventhough it's fairly easy to figure out someones identity these days.

Here, take a picture of my truck...but remember the rules:

are you serious in comparing a truck to children being advertised for ****? if you have kids I am sure they are glad to know you think that much of them.
