Anyone ever dye or paint interior trim with good results?
I have been looking for a center console from the Navigator or Expedition but have only found tan colored ones.....

 

If you want to paint the console a factory interior color, visit your local Ford dealer's parts department. Interior spray paint in factory colors is available on a special order basis. I purchased a can of Medium Graphite Grey for around $10.00. This spray paint is utilized for painting the "hard plastic" components of your interior. The Ford color is a perfect match, both in color and texture. If you need to color a soft vinyl piece, such as the arm rest on the console, you will need to obtain a vinyl dye which is designed for that purpose. Most auto body paint supply retailers sell the vinyl dye in spray cans. You will have to find a shade of grey which matches your interior, I don't think the dyes are made in factory colors. Be sure to follow the preparation instructions on the can, making sure the surface is clean prior to painting or spraying the dye.

Does anyone know the Part # for the Medium Graphite grey paint that he is referring to? I have a tan a console and I want to paint it.

Don't know the part number however you can order a new lid in the right color for the console if you can't get a good match with the die.
