Very common the connector pops out of the back of the multifuntion switch . Usually the retainer breaks or the wires pop out of the connector when you move the wheel tilt up and town. Take the plastic cover off behind the wheel and see whats going on. I know ford has a updated harness which is a little bit longer but i have found that if you re route the harness its usually is ok. Hope this helps.

DUCK's was doing it and he didn't even know it (he never uses his tilt). His tech told him he noticed it on a test drive (after doing DUCK's tranny) and took care of the problem for him. Good luck with the fix!
