Do I need a pinion snubber?

My truck's lowered about 2" all around (Eibach's in front, shackles in back). I'm just concerned about driveshaft failure at the track.

Would a shim be more appropriate? If so, what angle?

Your driveshaft angle should be ok with just a set of shackles. Apinion snubber couldn't hurt, but a set of traction bars would be better.

Thanks Don. I guess I was just being paranoid. The traction bars are definitely on the list of "to get" items.

Thanks Joe. I'll catch you after you get back from Norwalk.

Eibachs

Did you get 2 full inches from the Eibachs coils? Eibach only rates them at a 1" drop. Also have you trimmed the bump stops?

After installing the Eibachs, I got 1.75" with trimmed bump stops. I haven't measured it since, so I might be closer to 2" now that things have settled.
