fuel pressure problem

Lightbulb fuel pressure problem

I want to first thank 99svtlightning. I have been chasing what I thought was a T/B or TPS problem. It then turned into a fuel pressure problem that occured at the same time(or coincidence). After pulling my fuel tank, the problem WAS a fuel line that had fallen off the pump(in the tank). The cheap one-time use crimp clamps are the culprits. I replaced all crimp type clamps with ring/threaded type clamps. I also replaced my fuel socks while I had the tank down. I wanted to let other L owners know in case this happened to them. I don't believe this is year-specific,either,as I have talked to other owners of differing years. I own a 99 L. The symptoms are;will not start on first turn,then difficult to start at all,then finally catches enough to start & will idle OK, but you cannot throttle at all because of induced lean condition. Hope this helps anyone else having similar problems.
